       .影片上映后激发了英国人对透纳的更大兴趣。2014年底，特纳的《Rome, From Mount Aventine》在苏富比拍出了3030万英镑的价格，这是所有英国20世纪前画家作品拍卖的最高价。

       .影片中出现的1830年罗伯特·史蒂芬森设计的火车头是从曼切斯特科工博物馆借来的复制品。剧组让它在北威尔士的一段旧铁轨上运行，并在太阳落山时拍下了片中的那一幕。
       .2014年底索尼电影公司内部网络遭到黑客袭击，本片的片源被非法流露到了网络上，当时距离该片北美上映还有3个星期的时间。
