R' B: s0 J: i' Z8 d5 K　　大胆（成奎安 饰）率一伙悍匪打劫南非钻皇得手，他们找到中间人李云飞（陈惠敏 饰）销赃，却在交易时黑吃黑射杀收购人，李云飞趁乱逃脱。卧底张郎（周星驰 饰）因工作的特殊情况，导致和女友周文丽（周慧敏 饰）之间的误会越来越深，张郎欲甩手不干，但迫于老上司李警官（李修贤 饰）压 力，只得为了查清钻石劫案，奉命接近李云飞。其时李云飞正受到大胆一伙的追杀，张郎助其脱险得到了李云飞的信任。在接触中，张郎逐渐发现李云飞作为老派江湖人物行事有情有义，两人遂结为异姓兄弟。另一方面，张郎几经努力却无法向丽文表白自己的卧底身份，后者眼看要假结婚前往加拿大，而张郎在警局中的上司，又只将李云飞看做引诱大胆现身的诱饵，张郎现身职责和情义之中左右为难……
